Torstar/Metroland

Back in 2015 I took over the monthly beer column for Muskoka Life Magazine. After a short amount of time, I proved my talents as a writer and entered syndication through the Metroland Media and Torstar family of newspapers throughout the province. This later placed me as the only syndicated drinks columnist in Canada for several years.

This job in particular had several challenges to it. I had to remain relevant and speak to an audience looking to educate themselves on local craft beer releases, but I had to be mindful of province-wide availablility and timing, as the column often had to be written one or two months before publishing. It was a challenge I was only to welcome to take on.
